Prenditi Cura di Te

Prenditi Cura di Te – ODV is an Italian voluntary association dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer and their families. It recognizes that cancer can reshape many areas of a person’s life, and aims to help patients navigate the practical and personal challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and life beyond treatment. Its mission is to provide information about available services and rights, raise awareness of the experiences of people living with cancer, and promote everyday actions that support healthier living.

The association’s resources cover personal wellbeing, including guidance on appearance, hair, makeup, interests, and self-care, as well as physical and psychological support. Topics include exercise, nutrition, psychological support, physiotherapy, postural exercise, oncological rehabilitation, fertility preservation, relationships, and acupuncture. It also provides information on disability benefits, social security procedures, exemptions related to cancer, and work during or after illness. Through a network of partner organizations and professionals, the association shares information about relevant services and agreements.
