The mounts are designed with consistent outer dimensions and hole spacing, allowing them to work with PrentlAIR’s SNAP carrier plate. This standardized system makes it possible to combine, replace, or rotate mounts using compatible carrier plates. PrentlAIR emphasizes surface finish, temperature resistance, and precise fit, distinguishing its mounts from common PLA alternatives. The material incorporates fine carbon fiber and is described as more heat-resistant and flame-retardant than PLA, helping the mounts remain stable in hot cockpit conditions. An industrial printing process and reduced material infill also keep the mounts lightweight.
