About PrEPVacc
PrEPVacc is an African-led, European-supported HIV prevention project that operates in four countries in East and Southern Africa. With a focus on research and clinical trials, PrEPVacc aims to develop effective HIV prevention strategies. The brand is backed by 80 senior scientists, clinicians, social scientists, community liaison specialists, and other professionals from 15 partner organizations.
These partners have extensive experience in HIV and infectious diseases research, as well as clinical trials for HIV vaccines and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) across Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. PrEPVacc's partners include renowned institutions such as the Medical Research Council, Imperial College London, and the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. By collaborating with clinical and laboratory centers, PrEPVacc conducts cutting-edge research, manages trial databases, and ensures efficient trial management.
