Prescient National

Prescient National is a national insurance organization domiciled in North Carolina, focused on workers’ compensation solutions for employers and the agency and brokerage partners who serve them. Its approach centers on anticipating changes in legislation, employment conditions, insurance markets, and the economy to help shape coverage and risk management for the needs ahead. Rather than relying on standard, one-size-fits-all programs, Prescient National offers solutions informed by an employer’s needs, risk appetite, and loss history.

Its offerings include workers’ compensation policies and programs, excess insurance, alternative solutions, third-party administration (TPA) services, program business, and loss portfolio transfers. The company also provides risk and claims management services designed to support the treatment and recovery of injured employees, facilitate productive returns to work, resolve outstanding claims, and help control costs. Using analytics to identify loss trends and improvement opportunities, Prescient National develops tailored loss-prevention support, including attention to hiring practices and workplace safety.
