Présence tao

Présence tao is an association dedicated to Taoist philosophy and Chinese arts of movement. Its activities focus on TaiJiQuan, also known as TaiChiChuan, in the Wu style, presenting the practice as part of a Taoist way. The association offers classes and workshops, including TuiShou, or pushing hands, a partner practice also described as “sticky hands.

” Its work brings together martial arts and an interest in health, with activities listed in Haute-Garonne, Tarn, Paris and Toulouse, as well as references to Castres and Carcassonne. Présence tao shares information through an activity programme, an agenda and regular articles. The material also connects the Wu-style TaiJiQuan taught by the association with Chinese practitioners and teachers, including Su BaoQuan, Ma Yueh Liang, Ma Jiang Bao, Wang Hao Da, Shi MeiLin and Wu Ying Hua, alongside references to Peï and Paul Leu.

Through its classes and related resources, Présence tao introduces participants to the practice, history and Taoist context of Wu-style TaiJiQuan and associated Chinese movement arts
