About Washington Trust
Washington Trust for Historic Preservation is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to preserving the historic places in Washington State and promoting the development of sustainable and economically viable communities. As the only statewide nonprofit advocacy organization in Washington, their mission is to build a collective ethic of preserving historic sites through education, collaboration, and stewardship. They offer a range of programs and resources, including the Maritime Washington Grants, Youth Heritage Project, Main Street Resources, and Preservation Trades & Consultants Directory.
Additionally, they provide funding opportunities and host various news and events to engage and inform the public. Recently, they launched the Maritime Washington website, which showcases the rich history and culture of the Northwest. They also offer membership opportunities and accept donations to support their cause.
