About Ghana Presidency
The Presidency of the Republic of Ghana is the official website providing information about the governance of Ghana. Ghana, located in West Africa, gained independence in 1957, becoming the first black nation in sub-Saharan Africa to achieve freedom from colonial rule. The country is named after the ancient empire of Ghana, with a diverse population of approximately 24.
