Presidential Leadership Scholars is a bi-partisan program that brings together a diverse network of leaders to collaborate and create positive change in the world. Through interactions with former presidents, key administration officials, academics, and civic leaders, participants learn about leadership by studying the experiences of George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.

W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson.

This program is designed for mid-career professionals who are committed to facing critical challenges at home and abroad. Scholars engage in a personal leadership project that addresses a pressing issue in their community, country, or the world. They develop the necessary skills to work across different divides and cultivate a network that spans geographical, professional, political, and economic boundaries.

The program features evidence-based leadership methods, presidential leadership reviews, distinguished speakers, and a personal leadership project. With a focus on vision and communication, decision making, persuasion and influence, and strategic partnerships, the curriculum is led by distinguished professors and practitioners. Accepted participants receive full funding for tuition, housing, meals, and travel.

This six-month commitment includes sessions held at the four presidential centers and culminates in a capstone module. The program also benefits from the expertise of an advisory committee. Presidential Leadership Scholars inspires leaders to make a lasting, positive impact nationally and globally
