Smt. Droupadi Murmu serves as the 15th President of India, having taken office on July 25, 2022. As a leader committed to empowering marginalized groups, she has dedicated her career to promoting democratic values and social equity.

Before her presidency, Smt. Murmu held several notable positions, including the Governor of Jharkhand, where she was the first tribal woman to serve and garnered respect for her efforts to uphold constitutional values and support tribal rights. Her educational journey is notable; she was the first woman from her village in Odisha to earn a college degree, earning a Bachelor of Arts from Ramadevi Women’s College.
