Risto Ryti Society is a Finnish organisation dedicated to preserving the memory and promoting understanding of Risto Ryti (1889–1956), Finland’s fifth president. Its website presents his life and career, from his early years and work as a lawyer to his roles in politics, as governor of the Bank of Finland, as wartime prime minister and as president. It also covers his resignation in 1944, postwar conviction and imprisonment, and later pardon.
