Presolana

Presolana Ski is a family-oriented ski resort in Donico, Castione della Presolana, in Bergamo province, at the foot of the Presolana massif in the Orobie Prealps. Set at about 1,200 metres above sea level, it presents itself as an accessible “skiing gym,” particularly suited to children, families and beginners. The ski area has six runs totaling seven kilometres, including the Giogo learning slope for first-time skiers. Visitors can purchase ski passes and enjoy a bob track, which operates on weekends and may close in bad weather; weekday access is available for groups by reservation.

The resort’s ski school offers individual and group lessons in skiing, snowboarding and telemark, as well as instruction for people with disabilities, video-recorded lessons and competitive event organization. Equipment rental directly opposite the slopes includes skis, boots, snowboards, bobs, sleds and snowshoes for adults and children. A workshop also provides ski and snowboard preparation services. Beyond downhill skiing, Presolana Ski promotes ski touring and snowshoeing among the area’s snowy slopes, woodland paths and mountain scenery.
