Preston Sports Club

Preston Sports Club is a long-established, not-for-profit sports club based on South Meadow Lane in Preston, Lancashire. Serving the South Preston community and wider Preston area, the club welcomes people of all abilities and provides facilities for cricket, hockey and football throughout the year. Its purpose extends beyond sport: it aims to support residents’ physical and mental health and to serve as a community hub offering opportunities to engage, empower and enrich local people. The club is a founder member of Broadgate Community Connectors, a project bringing together local faith, community and statutory organisations to address social issues.

Facilities available to book include a cricket square and outfield, grass pitches, an artificial pitch, and a clubhouse with a clubroom, bar, changing rooms and showers. The artificial pitch received a new surface and shockpad in 2020, and car parking is also provided. Preston Sports Club Limited operates as a not-for-profit members’ company limited by guarantee and reinvests any surplus in its facilities.
