The Damo & Mick Cinematic Universe

Pretty Grouse! is an independent online entertainment project from Grouse Media, sharing weird, silly and interesting things on the internet since 1997. Its content is designed to amuse and engage, with features, quick reads and recommendations of work by its creative friends and collaborators. The site also brings its personality beyond written posts through live shows, video content and podcasts, including the returning Pretty Grouse Podcast, where hosts discuss topics they feel deserve attention.

Pretty Grouse! combines digital publishing with live entertainment, offering audiences several ways to discover its work. The project describes its approach as independent and old-school web-first, and highlights the Fediverse as a place to connect, rather than relying on commercial social networks. Visitors can explore the site’s articles and features, watch videos, find podcast episodes and subscription options, or attend performances on stage. With an irreverent tone and a long-running presence online, Pretty Grouse! focuses on sharing amusing discoveries, creative conversations and entertaining work across multiple formats.
