Prevention Link is an innovative disability prevention program in Ontario that focuses on the primary and secondary prevention of occupational injury, illness, and disease in workplaces. Supported by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and governed by the Ontario Federation of Labour, Prevention Link offers a range of services to unionized and non-unionized workers, workplace representatives, and employers. These include training, mentoring, outreach, and advisory services, all aimed at achieving cost-effective, collaborative, and results-based outcomes. Through its holistic and comprehensive disability prevention program, Prevention Link aligns with the Chief Prevention Officer's strategic framework for building healthy and safe Ontario workplaces.

With over 30 years of experience as the Occupational Disability Response Team, Prevention Link has evolved into one of Ontario's only comprehensive prevention programs. They focus on both primary and secondary prevention, working to prevent initial injuries and illnesses as well as re-injury after returning to work. Prevention Link is supported by three pillars: Occupational Disability Response Training, Return to Work – Disability Prevention Services, and Lighthouse Initiative – Education, awareness, and outreach. Their ultimate vision is a province where occupational illnesses and injuries are eliminated, creating healthy, safe, and accommodating workplaces for all workers across Ontario.
