Previato

Associação de Judô Previato (AJP) is a judo association founded on January 27, 1996, to teach traditional judo. It is affiliated with the São Paulo Judo Federation and is based in the Imirim neighborhood of São Paulo, Brazil. The association presents judo as more than a sport: regular, dedicated practice can support physical and mental development, and the discipline is suitable for children and adults of both sexes.

AJP offers classes with schedules divided between adults and children. Students receive individual attention, with activities adapted to their abilities and aimed at supporting physical, technical, psychological, and sociocultural development. Classes are taught by Carlos Alberto Previato, a 6th Dan, and Paulo Felippe da Costa Cabral, a 2nd Dan, who teaches the children’s group. The association’s website also features training information, photos, videos, links, and resources about judo, including information on black belts and instructors remembered by the community. AJP’s dojo is located at Rua Alberto Silva, 126, Imirim, São Paulo.
