PREVNet is a national research and knowledge mobilization hub dedicated to fostering healthy relationships among children and youth in Canada. With a network of 130 researchers from 30 academic institutions and over 60 national youth-serving organizations, we bring together the brightest minds in the field of bullying prevention, youth healthy relationships, and gender-based violence. Our unique partnership model allows us to connect researchers with practitioners and policy makers, ensuring that knowledge development is informed by on-the-ground expertise.

We delve into the impacts of childhood and adolescence experiences on unhealthy behaviors, working closely with organizations, businesses, and governments to co-develop practices, programs, and policies to prevent interpersonal violence. Established in 2006, PREVNet was co-founded by Dr. Debra Pepler of York University and Dr.

Wendy Craig of Queen's University, with funding from the Networks of Centres of Excellence. As Canada's Healthy Relationships Hub, we continue to lead the way by bringing researchers and national organizations together to address and reduce youth dating violence through research capacity building, assessment, and promotion of evidence-based programs and effective policies.
