PriceHash is a flight price intelligence service from ValidPixel LLC that helps travelers decide when a fare is worth booking. Users choose a route, travel dates or departure window, and trip type; PriceHash then monitors fares and sends an email when the price meets its alert criteria. It does not sell flights, take payments, or manage bookings.
Each fare receives a Price Hash Score from 0 to 100, calculated with deterministic code using the route’s own price history. The score considers how the fare compares with recorded prices for the same route, departure month, and booking window, as well as how close fares are to their typical upward trend before departure. PriceHash requires sufficient fare data before scoring or sending an alert, and it limits notifications to avoid unnecessary messages. Alerts include the fare, score, and an explanation of the comparison; fares may exclude extras such as baggage and seat selection. The service is free during beta, with a paid tier planned.
