About Pride
Pride Amsterdam is an LGBTQIA+ celebration and community event in Amsterdam, bringing people together around freedom, diversity, visibility and inclusion. The 2027 festival is scheduled for 31 July to 8 August, with a program of public events and activities across the city. Its best-known highlight is the Canal Parade, when decorated boats travel through Amsterdam’s canals on Saturday, 7 August.
The event program also includes the Pride Walk, which passes through the heart of Amsterdam and traditionally ends at Pride Park in Vondelpark. Pride Park launches the celebrations with activities such as the Rainbow Market, Sport Pride and Youth Pride, with the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre at its center. Other featured events include an open-air film festival at Mercatorplein. Pride Amsterdam also presents programs and initiatives including Ballroom Pride, Senior Pride, Sport Pride, Student Pride and Trans Pride, celebrating LGBTQIA+ history, culture, sport and community. The official website provides event information to help visitors explore the program and plan their visit.
