European Pride in Aviation - EPAN - is the international partner organisation of the NGPA. Our joint mission is to build, support and unite the LGBTQIA+ aviation community around Europe and beyond. With community in focus, our members benefit from having a safe space and social network where they can truly be their authentic selves, where they may not be able to otherwise do so at home or at the workplace. Our work with the industry aims to unite all airlines, flight schools and aviation companies across all areas of aviation to make our industry more inclusive and thus a better place for all.

The European Pride in Aviation Network (EPAN) is a non-profit community connecting LGBTQIA+ people in aviation, along with allies who support a more inclusive industry. Its members include pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers, engineers, mechanics, ground and office staff, and aviation enthusiasts. Although EPAN is growing across Europe and nearby regions, people may join even if they do not live or work in Europe.
EPAN’s mission is to build community, provide support, and unite people around a shared interest in aviation. Members can access professional mentoring, resilience-development resources, community events, and industry discounts, while connecting in a welcoming space where they can be themselves. The organisation also publishes AIRMAIL, a monthly newsletter with updates about its work and community.
Through advocacy and its Aeromedical Committee, EPAN works to advance inclusion for people living with HIV and gender-diverse individuals in aviation. It hosts gatherings and activities, shares industry and community news, and collaborates with partners and supporters.
