Primary Health Tasmania (Tasmania PHN) is a non-government, not-for-profit organization dedicated to connecting care and promoting the well-being of Tasmanians. As one of the 31 Primary Health Networks (PHNs) established by the Australian Government, our mission is to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and coordination of medical services, particularly for those at risk of poor health outcomes. Our vision is to create a healthy Tasmanian community, and our purpose is to develop sustainable health and well-being solutions in collaboration with the local community.

Our activities are aligned with national priorities and tailored to the specific needs of local communities and priority population groups. We focus on service delivery, provider support, and system improvement in various areas such as Aboriginal health, after-hours care, aged care, cancer screening, mental health, and more.
