Prime Fighters

Prime Fighters is a Helsinki-based club founded in 2001, specializing in self-defence and fitness-focused martial arts. Its training takes place at its own gym on Mekaanikonkatu, about 150 metres from Siilitie metro station, with parking available nearby. The club welcomes beginners and experienced participants, offering a free trial session and opportunities to join throughout the year.

Its self-defence classes focus on Krav Maga, and the club belongs to the Finnish Krav Maga Federation. For fitness and combat-sport training, members can practise kickboxing and boxing techniques, including punches and kicks. Other offerings include fitness boxing, kettlebell training, Prime FIT group fitness, and Prime ACTION functional strength training, which develops strength, mobility, coordination, speed and power using equipment such as kettlebells, weights and bodyweight exercises.

Prime Fighters also runs active junior programmes for children aged 4–6, 6–9 and 10–14, with options to train alongside adult groups while remaining in age-specific sessions. The club serves members from young children to adults over 80, guided by qualified instructors in martial arts and strength training.
