About Centre Primo Levi
Centre Primo Levi is a renowned association dedicated to providing care and support to individuals who have been victims of torture and political violence and are now exiled in France. Located in Paris, their healthcare center welcomes over 400 people every year from nearly 50 different countries. With their expertise, Centre Primo Levi also trains and raises awareness among professionals working with exiled individuals to promote appropriate care.
Furthermore, they advocate for access to healthcare and the right to asylum. Offering a multidisciplinary approach, the center provides medical, psychological, physiotherapeutic, social, and legal support, with interpreters if needed, to improve the physical and mental well-being of their patients. Centre Primo Levi also conducts training programs, publishes a specialized journal called Mémoires, organizes biennial conferences, and actively engages in advocacy and awareness campaigns to promote suitable care for victims of torture and defend the right to health and asylum.
By becoming a member, donor, volunteer, or employee, you can support the organization's mission to assist women, men, and children who have endured intentional harm at the hands of their oppressors and sought refuge in France
