Princely States Report is a specialist publication and online platform dedicated to exploring the history and heritage of India’s former princely states. Originating from a passion for stamps issued by the convention and feudatory states, it brings together philatelists, historians, numismatists, and curious readers interested in these once-sovereign realms. Its content includes philatelic articles about the stories, people, and events reflected in stamps, alongside broader historical features that provide context on the states’ political, social, and cultural past.

The publication also covers numismatics, examining princely currencies, their designs, significance, and place in local economies. Topics span military history, regional histories, communications, documents, and collecting resources related to India’s princely states. Princely States Report presents itself as a growing community as well as a publication, encouraging readers to share knowledge and connect through events, webinars, workshops, and exhibitions.

By combining research, collecting, and historical storytelling, it aims to preserve and celebrate the diverse legacies of India’s princely past
