TN Priority 1 Athletics

Priority 1 Athletics is a basketball training brand based in Knoxville, Tennessee, serving youth and high school players across West Knoxville, Bearden, and Farragut. Its programs welcome athletes of different ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the game to experienced players seeking to improve. Training options include group and semi-private sessions, individual one-on-one coaching, camps, and clinics.

The brand focuses on helping each player build on existing strengths, address areas for improvement, and develop confidence. Instruction combines basketball fundamentals and skill development with a focus on understanding the game, or basketball IQ, so athletes can become smarter and stronger players and teammates. Core training areas include shooting technique, such as catching and releasing and shooting off the dribble; ball handling, including dribbling, creating space, and controlling the ball under pressure; and footwork to support speed, agility, and balance.

Priority 1 Athletics reports more than 20 years of experience, over 5,000 athletes trained, and more than 100 professional and college athletes trained.
