PRIVATE HOUSE SOCIETY

Private House Society LLC is a Lancaster, Pennsylvania, vintage and estate business focused on giving distinctive old pieces a new life. Its carefully curated collections bring together rescued vintage furniture, finery, industrial and architectural salvage, and curiosities from the past. Items are cleaned, repaired, and sometimes restyled, with fine craft and art from like-minded artisans adding a complementary contemporary touch. The company describes its aesthetic as a little punk and a lot divine, and presents its offerings for both house and garden.

Private House Society also provides vintage rentals for weddings and other special occasions, helping customers add character and old-school luxe to an event or space. The business buys and sells individual pieces and lots, including estate items, jewelry, vintage clothing, and industrial and architectural salvage. It also invites inquiries about cleanouts, estate sales, and salvage from demolitions involving industrial buildings, barns, churches, and residences. The shop operates by appointment only, and customers can contact the team about specific resources, purchases, sales, or rental needs.
