Hawaii’s Private Transportation Group (PTG) is a luxury and premium vehicle rental company serving the Big Island. Founded in 2014 by an auto enthusiast, the company was created to offer personalized service, clean and sanitized high-end vehicles, and careful attention to customers’ needs. PTG aims to make arrival and travel easier by including vehicle delivery to a location chosen by the renter.
Delivery can be arranged curbside, plane-side, at airport parking, or at a home, helping customers avoid traditional airport rental lines. The company also offers luxury “black car” passenger pickup in an SUV or sedan for travelers seeking transportation on arrival. PTG describes itself as the Big Island’s only premium and high-end automobile rental company and says its rentals are backed by Zurich Insurance.
Rental agreements are handled through DocuSign, with the goal of reducing wait time so guests can begin their vacation promptly. The company is based in Kamuela, Hawaii, and provides contact support for inquiries and bookings
