Pro Igel | Verein für integrierten Naturschutz Deutschland e. V. is a nationally active hedgehog protection association dedicated to safeguarding the native hedgehog species through public outreach and publications.

Offering a plethora of resources, from comprehensive guidelines for caring for distressed hedgehogs to fostering research on these wild creatures, our organization supports hedgehog finders, wildlife rescue centers, veterinarians, and more. Pro Igel is a collective of volunteer experts rather than a membership-based association and relies heavily on donations to fund our extensive initiatives. Whether you have inquiries about hedgehogs, hedgehog conservation, or hedgehog care, our organization is here to provide you with expert advice and information.
