PROACOR S.A.S. is a Colombian agricultural company founded in 2017 in Valle del Cauca. Initially established as a poultry business allied with Cargill, it entered agriculture in 2020, beginning with the production and domestic sale of musaceae, including plantains and bananas. The company later expanded into exporting Hass avocados and yellow pitaya, bringing Colombian-grown produce to international markets.
PROACOR specializes in producing and exporting fresh fruit, with operations based on its own crops and partnerships with small-scale producers. It provides these growers with technical support and promotes sustainable practices across the agricultural supply chain. The company’s purpose is to foster prosperity in Colombia’s countryside through high-quality food production, rural development, innovation, and sustainability. Its work emphasizes traceability, quality, and collaboration with rural communities. PROACOR reports producing more than 450 tonnes of plantains, supporting over 60 jobs, working with more than 10 associated producers, and having over 5,000 pitaya plants established. Through its products and partnerships, the brand connects local agricultural production with broader markets.
