PF Training

Proactive Firearms Training provides firearm education and safety services, with a focus on NRA instruction and defensive training for pistols and shotguns. Its course offerings include NRA Basic Pistol and Basic Shotgun classes, as well as introductory defensive pistol and shotgun classes. The organization also offers Indiana Hunter Education classes and safety classes for firearms retailers.

In addition to training, Proactive Firearms Training provides Range Safety Officer services. NRA and defensive classes are held at the Shelby County FOP in Shelbyville, Indiana, and the organization trains in conjunction with Indy Pistol Training. Its website also directs visitors to information about recommended companies, handgun permits and laws, and firearm safety rules.

Gift certificates are available for those wishing to give training as a present. Individuals can contact Proactive Firearms Training by phone or email to ask about its services, and the site provides a link for joining or renewing an NRA membership
