ProBio is the contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, serving customers developing biologics and cell and gene therapies. With operations in the United States, the Netherlands, South Korea, and China, it supports drug programs from discovery through clinical and commercial manufacturing. Since October 2017, ProBio reports helping customers obtain more than 130 investigational new drug (IND) approvals.

Its biologics services include therapeutic antibody discovery, lead optimization, antibody engineering, pharmacology studies, recombinant protein development, and cell line development. ProBio also offers process and analytical development, GMP cell banking, IND-enabling studies, and clinical and commercial manufacturing, including aseptic fill and finish.

For cell and gene therapy, its capabilities cover plasmid, lentiviral and adeno-associated viral vector, and mRNA programs. Services include process development, analytical method development and validation, characterization, stability studies, and GMP manufacturing. ProBio also offers integrated solutions such as lentiviral vector drug product and RNA-lipid nanoparticle services. Its GMP capacity is designed to meet requirements of the FDA, EMA, and NMPA.
