Procap Zentralschweiz

Procap Zentralschweiz is a regional section of Procap Schweiz, Switzerland’s largest membership organisation by and for people with disabilities. With around 2,000 active members and approximately 200 solidarity members, it is open to people with physical, intellectual or psychological disabilities. The organisation works to support its members and promote a more inclusive society, guided by the principle “without ifs or buts.”

Its services include social insurance advice, building consultancy and guidance for children and families. Procap Zentralschweiz also raises awareness, engages in social policy and organises events that encourage participation and connection. Activities include practical help with notebooks and mobile phones, social gatherings, conversations and shared cooking events. The organisation also offers opportunities to get involved through active or solidarity membership, volunteering and donations.

Based in Lucerne, Procap Zentralschweiz provides support through its business and counselling office and shares news, services and event information through its website and newsletter. Its work combines individual assistance with broader efforts to improve inclusion and participation for people with disabilities across the region.
