Buštovi Family Farm is a family-run poultry business in Dolní Cerekev, Czech Republic, specializing in raising and selling pullets for egg production. Founded in 1991, the farm draws on decades of experience in poultry rearing, including knowledge passed down from Tomáš Bušta’s father, who worked with the Tetra laying hybrid. Tomáš and Lenka Buštovi focus on providing healthy, calm birds and personal service to customers.
Pullets are raised on litter in indoor housing, where they can move freely and scratch. The farm follows veterinary supervision and vaccination schedules, with housing practices intended to support animal health and limit infection risks. Its selection includes several varieties, such as light, dark and speckled brown, black, Sussex, Leghorn, Vlaška, Greenshell and Darkshell, as well as roosters.
Sales take place at the farm on scheduled dates rather than through daily walk-in service, and the business does not deliver birds. Customers who cannot collect in person can call for details of nearby retailers.
