Profitdrive.app

Profitdrive is a connected business planning and financial management system for owners of IT and professional services firms. It brings pipeline, deal costing, project plans, resource planning, timecards, invoice export and management reporting together using shared data, helping firms understand how current decisions may affect future profitability.

The platform builds a forward-looking profit and loss outlook from contracted work, potential extensions and sales pipeline. Users can model deal pricing, staffing, rates and utilisation, assess project margins, and see what bookings may be needed to reach a financial plan. Draft extensions and change requests can be evaluated before they are signed, while accepted timecards and accounting actuals provide context on project and client performance.

Profitdrive works with accounting systems through monthly actuals imports or a Xero connection, and offers migration support for data from spreadsheets or other systems. The company also provides a free Partner seat for accountants. Operated by Profitdrive.app and based in Sydney, Australia, the business says its approach was shaped by more than twenty years of services-firm finance and operations experience.
