Progetto Sinapsi

Progetto Sinapsi is a Rome-based parents’ association dedicated to improving the quality of life of autistic people and building opportunities for social and workplace inclusion. Guided by the principle “Never alone,” it connects people and families affected by autism, encouraging practical solidarity, shared knowledge and mutual support. The association works to help families address everyday needs and promotes awareness, respect and recognition of the dignity and rights of autistic people.

Its services include legal, tax and administrative assistance, as well as guidance on accessing rights and opportunities. Progetto Sinapsi also organizes sports and social activities designed to support personal development and foster friendships. Through information and awareness initiatives, it shares resources with families and works to challenge stereotypes about autism.

The association’s projects include Onde d’Inclusione, Sinapsi Autistic Angels and the Inclusion Summer Camp. It also hosts events and community initiatives, and invites people to participate as members, supporters, donors or volunteers by contributing their time and skills.
