About GIF
Programa GIF is an international initiative focused on improving the governance of Financial Inclusion Institutions (IFI) in Latin America and the Caribbean. With a mission to enhance the governance practices of these institutions, Programa GIF offers a range of innovative learning processes and tools. Their vision is to become a globally recognized and respected leader in governance and financial inclusion, with the goal of institutionalizing good corporate governance practices in IFIs throughout the region.
Since its establishment in 2015, Programa GIF has successfully implemented its methodology in over a hundred Financial Institutions across seven countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. With a team of 47 accredited Consultants, Programa GIF is at the forefront of shaping opinions on governance and financial inclusion. They offer various products and services, including guidance and certification, recertification assessments, digital courses for mastering governance and financial inclusion, accreditation at local and international levels, and forums and events to address relevant industry topics.
