ProGRES is Burkina Faso’s national platform for organizing and showcasing scientific research across higher education and research institutions. Developed in connection with the Université Joseph Ki-Zerbo, it brings institutional research information together in a shared digital space, helping researchers, institutions and decision-makers find and use it more easily. The platform features a directory of teacher-researchers and their academic profiles, alongside tools to deposit, index and highlight scientific publications, including articles, books and conference papers.

It also supports the tracking and visibility of research projects, teams and laboratories, and records patents and innovations arising from national research. Structured CVs and public portfolios allow researchers to present their expertise, while consolidated statistics and reporting tools support institutional and national oversight. Users can explore participating institutions and search for researchers or publications; authorized administrators can access national dashboards and Excel exports.

ProGRES provides dedicated institutional spaces and verified institutional data, with the aim of creating a common national reference for the research activity of Burkina Faso’s higher education and research community
