Progressive ops

Progressive o.p.s. is a Prague-based nonprofit organization that has worked in the field of substance-use prevention since 2003. Its mission is to provide professional, high-quality support to people affected by, or at risk of, addiction through specialized and innovative harm-reduction services. This approach aims to reduce the risks associated with substance use. The organization brings together multidisciplinary teams with expertise in addiction services, social work, psychology and healthcare.

Progressive’s programs include outpatient social counselling and healthcare in psychiatry and addiction services, a contact and counselling centre, and a street outreach program for people experiencing addiction or at risk. It also offers harm-reduction support in nightlife settings, vending machines supplying health materials, and Fixpoint services. Comeback Shop supports social reintegration through donated goods, while the organization also provides opportunities for work-based resocialization. Its services operate across Prague.

The contact centre and street program are registered social services and hold professional-service certification. Progressive reviews service quality through development audits, regularly audits its finances, and expects staff to follow its ethical code.
