Progressive Behavior Support PLLC provides neurodiversity-affirming behavior therapy for children and families in Charlottesville, Virginia, and surrounding communities. Its approach is personalized to each child’s strengths, interests, and needs, with an emphasis on compassionate support and meaningful growth. Services are led by Corey Costella, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst dedicated to helping neurodivergent children develop skills for everyday life.
The practice offers play-based therapy focused on communication, play, and daily living skills, using child-led activities to make sessions engaging and relevant. Parent coaching and support provide families with practical guidance for encouraging their child’s development at home. Individualized social skills support helps children build confidence and relationships with peers. Progressive Behavior Support also collaborates with school educators and preschool staff to support children in the least restrictive learning environment.
Across its services, the practice centers the whole child and works in partnership with families and educators. Its goal is to create warm, thoughtful support that helps children thrive in their everyday environments.
