About TRIGGER
TRIGGER project is at the forefront of addressing the increasingly severe impacts of climate change on human health. Their innovative approach involves establishing Climate-Health Connection (CHC) Labs across Europe to facilitate collaboration between citizens, experts, and policymakers in devising effective solutions. The project aims to deepen our understanding of the intricate linkages between climate change, human health, and ecosystems.
With a consortium of 22 partners from various disciplines, TRIGGER is committed to developing a new international monitoring service for global health protection. By collecting data from the 5 CHC Labs in European cities, including Augsburg, Bologna, Geneva, Heraklion, and Oulu, the project will monitor and mitigate the risks posed by climate change on human health. TRIGGER operates on three key pillars: trans-disciplinary investigations, integration of research results, and the development of practical tools to predict and address health risks associated with climate change.
