Project Biome

Project Biome is a regenerative collective founded in 2019 to connect people, projects, and partners working to restore harmony between humanity and nature. Rather than competing with the many organizations in the social and environmental sectors, it aims to link their efforts into networks that support local action, strengthen bioregional economies, and help heal the relationship between people and planet. Its work brings together ecological restoration, regenerative agriculture, storytelling, community-led development, and respect for Indigenous knowledge holders.

Project Biome organizes its activities through a connected portfolio and a holistic 3-Rs Framework focused on regeneration, rewilding, and reconnection. The Bioregional Accelerator hosts small, relationship-led gatherings to help regions recognize local resources and develop bioregional practices. The Biome Collective is a free online community where farmers, land stewards, educators, scientists, artists, activists, and others can learn and connect. The Biome Hive supports a network of autonomous but connected bioregional hubs, sharing services and knowledge around a common regenerative mission. Through these initiatives, Project Biome works to cultivate place-based regenerative futures.
