The Project Brock Society is a Canadian nonprofit organization focused on creating heart-safe schools in memory of Brock Ruether, who lived from 1995 to 2012. Its mission is to help schools across Canada ensure that automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are available and that staff and students are prepared to respond to sudden cardiac arrest. The society promotes immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED use, emphasizing that prompt action can improve a person’s chance of survival.

Project Brock works to build relationships with schools and other stakeholders, sharing information and resources about cardiac emergencies and school preparedness. Its offerings include guidance on becoming a Heart-Safe School, a school sign-up process, a serious medical incident report form, and educational materials on sudden cardiac arrest, CPR, and AEDs.
