About Project Coyote
Project Coyote is a national non-profit organization based in Northern California that aims to promote compassionate conservation and coexistence between people and wildlife. Comprising a coalition of scientists, educators, ranchers, and citizen leaders, Project Coyote advocates for changes in laws and policies to protect native carnivores from abuse and mismanagement, with a focus on advocating for coexistence rather than killing. The organization's work encompasses education, science, and advocacy, seeking to change the way wild carnivores are viewed and treated in North America.
With a particular focus on the coyote, which represents all misunderstood and exploited predators, Project Coyote strives to stop the wanton and cruel killing of native carnivores, reform predator management, create successful models of coexistence, and inspire the next generation to care for Wildlife. To support their mission, Project Coyote offers various programs and initiatives, including carnivore conservation, coexistence in ranching, and the promotion of coyote-friendly communities. Join the fight to protect native carnivores and foster a harmonious relationship between humans and wildlife
