Project LIVE

Project LIVE, established in 2014 at the University of South Australia, is an innovative cross-disciplinary initiative dedicated to enhancing experiential learning through immersive visualization technologies. This initiative focuses on developing cutting-edge virtual and augmented reality experiences that effectively bridge the gap between research and teaching.

Project LIVE offers a diverse range of products and services, including immersive learning exercises utilizing drones, 3D photogrammetry, gigapixel photography, terrestrial laser scanning (LiDAR), 360-degree media, and virtual reality (VR) explorations. Their state-of-the-art facilities include a Panorama Room featuring a 180-degree multi-projector display and a VR Studio equipped with advanced VR workstations. Additionally, the project collaborates closely with the Adelaide Planetarium, providing engaging full-dome experiences that showcase the wonders of astronomy.
