Project Street Vet is a compassionate and dedicated brand that focuses on providing free veterinary care, treatment, and support to the beloved pets of individuals experiencing homelessness or housing vulnerability. Founded by Dr. Kwane Stewart, this 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity has been committed to protecting the strong bond between humans and animals for over a decade.

Project Street Vet offers various services to fulfill their mission. They conduct Street Vet Work, walking areas with high homelessness to seek out pets and pet parents in need. They also organize free pet clinics and offer financial assistance to ensure that pets receive the care they deserve.

In 2022, Project Street Vet experienced remarkable growth and impact thanks to the support of their dedicated team, partners, volunteers, and supporters. Their goal is to inspire veterinarians and veterinary teams nationwide to provide essential resources to pets and their owners facing homelessness. While currently focused on assisting pet parents in California, Project Street Vet aspires to expand their program services both within and outside of the state, but they need motivated volunteers to achieve this.
