Projekt-Abenteuer

Projekt Abenteuer is the adventure project of Claudia and Ernst, who compete as Team Alpine Rowers and share their experiences through their website. The pair made history as the first German mixed-pairs team to take part in The World’s Toughest Row – Atlantic, a demanding ocean rowing race. In December 2024, they set out from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to cross more than 3,000 miles of the Atlantic to Antigua in the Caribbean.

They rowed unaccompanied and self-sufficiently, relying entirely on their own physical strength. Claudia and Ernst completed the crossing in 54 days, 13 hours and 48 minutes. Projekt Abenteuer documents this challenge and points readers toward information about the team, the race, their partners and charity activities.

The site also introduces further adventures, offering visitors a way to follow the couple’s expeditions and learn about the experiences behind their project. Its focus is on endurance, teamwork and self-powered exploration, with the Atlantic crossing serving as a defining achievement for Team Alpine Rowers
