About Projeto Preserva
Projeto Preserva is a documentary audiovisual series that showcases individuals and communities dedicated to preserving memory and cultural identity in various corners of Minas Gerais. The series explores traditional knowledge, cultural practices, and places that promote conservation. Projeto Preserva focuses on topics such as heritage, environmental conservation, and sustainable tourism.
In their first season, they visit communities that embody Brazilian art, featuring regions specializing in ceramics, sculptures, and basketry. These artists not only preserve ancestral knowledge but also contribute to the local economy. Their efforts align with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to safeguard heritage and ensure the sustainability of communities.
