Projetos de Leitura

Projetos de Leitura is a renowned brand that has been promoting the practice of reading in Brazil for over 20 years. They offer various projects and initiatives aimed at fostering the habit of reading among children, young people, and adults. Their activities take place in schools, hospitals, parks, public transport, and squares.

Some of their notable projects include Ler É Bom, Experimente! (Reading is Good, Give it a Try!), developed in public schools with book donations and auxiliary materials, resulting in a compilation of texts written by the best students. Another project is Minha Escola Lê (My School Reads), implemented in both public and private schools, where books are sold at cost value. Projetos de Leitura also organizes the Caravana da Leitura (Reading Caravan), where a tent is set up in a public square, selling books by Laé de Souza at a symbolic price.

Additionally, they have initiatives such as Leitura Não Tem Idade (Reading Has No Age) for senior citizens, Viajando na Leitura (Traveling with Reading) on buses, trains, and airports, and Dose de Leitura (Dose of Reading) in hospitals, providing books to patients. They also lend books in parks with Leitura no Parque (Reading in the Park) and include books in baskets supplied by companies with Livro na Cesta (Book in the Basket). Projetos de Leitura has many other activities and initiatives designed to encourage reading and promote literacy in Brazil
