Proloco Borgotaro

Pro Loco Borgotaro is a local tourism association based in Borgo Val di Taro, in the Valtaro area, where Liguria, Emilia and Tuscany meet. Its mission is to promote the surrounding valleys through recreational, cultural and food-focused activities, helping visitors discover the area’s landscape, traditions and local products. The region is especially known for its porcini mushroom, celebrated as a hallmark of Borgotaro and a highlight of local cuisine.

The association organizes seasonal events, including autumn celebrations centered on regional flavors and produce, the Sagra della Castagna, and the Fungo d’Oro, an event that recognizes individuals for contributions made during the year. It also encourages people to explore the territory and provides information about local activities and events.

For tennis enthusiasts, Pro Loco Borgotaro offers access to two courts: one clay court and one covered, illuminated and heated court. The facilities also include spacious, recently built changing rooms. Through its events and recreational facilities, the association supports local community life while showcasing the character and attractions of Valtaro.
