Prometeo AITF ODV

Prometeo Trapianti is the Sardinian regional delegation of the Italian Association of Liver Transplant Recipients (A.I.T.F.), operating as a voluntary organisation dedicated to people affected by organ transplantation. The association promotes awareness of organ donation and supports transplant recipients through information, guidance and assistance. Its website shares practical updates on matters relevant to patients, including medicines, treatment-related concerns and information for before and after transplantation, while encouraging people to contact their transplant centre about medical decisions.

Prometeo also organises sporting events and activities, including initiatives connected with hospital day care, and publishes personal testimonies that highlight experiences of donation, recovery and life after transplantation. Visitors can learn about the association, its governance and statutes, become members, and explore news, press coverage and useful documents. The organisation invites public support through donations and Italy’s five-per-thousand tax allocation, and provides information about contribution methods and applicable tax benefits. Through its activities and communications, Prometeo aims to foster a more informed and supportive community for transplant recipients and those interested in organ donation in Sardinia.
