Promethean HD

Promethean HD is a healthcare consultancy and education provider specialising in human factors, patient safety and organisational governance. It supports NHS and other healthcare organisations to navigate complexity and design the workforce, systems, tools, processes and workplaces needed to deliver safe, effective and affordable services. Its work focuses on resilient, consistent, person-centred care and a learning culture that improves safety and quality.

Promethean HD offers training in the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), human factors, systems-based responses, investigations, oversight, compassionate engagement and safety-action design. Programmes range from introductory courses to advanced development for practitioners and leaders, with bespoke options tailored to an organisation’s context and priorities. Delivery is available online or in person, for individuals and teams.

Alongside training, the company provides patient safety investigations and insights, expert consultancy, digital and technology assessment and implementation planning, and support with Care Quality Commission requirements, governance and transformation. It also delivers masterclasses, team coaching and mentoring. Practical tools, learning resources and follow-up support may be included depending on the programme.
